Re: Dividends question

Thanks for checking! I actually did read the prospectus - someone on here recommended doing that, so I did. But I somehow missed the line. I found it now though: 一方、分配金を再投資して資産成長に充てたいという場合には、新NISAの成長投資枠を活用して当ファンドを購入することで、非課税で分配金を再投資することができるため、効率よく資産形成を目指すこともできます So that makes sense. Thanks again! A...

I'd stay away from Tracers as they use accountancy tricks to make the fund price appear lower than it really is.
Oh no! I quite liked the suite of Tracers funds. I’ll have to look into this.

Re: Dividends question

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I was interested in this fund: Tracers 日経平均高配当株50インデックス(奇数月分配型) Because it's got 奇数月分配型 in the title, I thought that it would pay dividends. And if it did, I wasn't sure if they would be reinvested internally or not. It's not an ETF. But when I checked the fund's data, it ...

Dividends question

Hi all, I just wanted to confirm something. If we invest in a fund which pays dividends, I know we have the option to have the dividends automatically reinvested. But my understanding is that if the fund is in NISA, this reinvestment will "cost" you some of your investment limit for the ye...

Re: au kabucom

Okay, I'll retain my traditional suspicion of points then. I suppose another solid argument for sticking with Rakuten (or SBI/Monex) is that if I have difficulty with something at a smaller brokerage, no one here may have any knowledge of how that brokerage works. I think I'll just go ahead and appl...

Re: au kabucom

Thanks for the reply. It's mostly just the points thing that caught my eye. Being a complete novice with points, I don't know whether it's worth even caring about that. If it's not, then I suppose I'd just go with Rakuten as it seems to be the default recommendation here. (The ideco guide recommeded...

This is my first post, and I want to thank all the members here for their helpful advice. I've learned a lot from reading through old posts. I've also purchased the retirejapan guides to ideco and the new nisa. And I read the Millionaire Teacher series recommended in the guides. So I feel pretty pre...
