Re: Voluntary UK pension contribution
You can actually apply online now. My brother just did it and got a reply within a month. OMG. I want those months of my life back that I spent waiting for letters to arrive via Cyprus  Apply online! I will hunt that down! When I think of my first attempts to make voluntary contributions 25 y...

Re: Sock options
My feet at 28.5cm are not quite as large as yours but I get all my socks from Uniqlo. Their online store offers 27-29cm options at their regular cheap prices as well as many always on sale in numerous colors and styles. Since I started wearing Heat Tech socks in winter, I can’t go back to regular o...

Re: Sock options
I'm pretty sure I've seen normal business socks with a size designation of "28~30cm" at the underwear/pyjamas/socks area of Aeon. Thank you! I've tried a couple from Aeon, just about large enough but they are too tight at the top. I will keep looking there though! My feet a longer than yo...

(SOXX isn't a bad ETF, either.)
SOXX is doing very well...all time high.

Sock options
Hello, Nope, the spelling is correct...this is about my need for socks in Japan. :) I hope this subject doesn't get me blocked...but it is something that is impacting my everyday life in Japan! :) Somebody posted about pots and pans (or similar) so I thought I'd give "socks" a go. ;) My fe...

Re: Barclays UK closing expat accounts ?
It's been in the news a lot. Seems a few UK banks are cutting costs by closing non-residents' accounts. Thankfully NatWest have not done so yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do at some point. You can use a Wise account to get a virtual UK bank account with sort code and account number, which...
