Re: Representative Director - Risks without Rewards
I became 代表取締役社長 a while back now and there were some benefits I had to give up such as employment insurance, additional healthcare cover, company DC constributions and so on. It also means that all decisions about comp go through the board on an annual basis rather than defined company policies. Th...

HBR
They halved the number of issues to 6 a year a while back but still a great read with lots of intersting topics across all of business. The print version gives you access to the whole digital back catalogue plus a lot more.

Re: SMBC GOLD NL cannot be used for SBI tsumitate, why?

Re: SBI and NISA (do I need an SBI bank account?)
You don't need a Neobank account, you can transfer funds in from many different financial institutions. One advantage of having one though is to easily, quickly and at no costs move funds in and out. Re: SBI V Points Unavailable
It certainly wasn't the most simple procedure to go through but they were very helpful and I got there in the end. And now I'm loving points to buy stocks. I've only had the card 2 months and already received and spent 30,000 points (5000 of those came from MyNumber)

Re: How to withdraw yen from dollars using SBIsec

Re: Length of mortgage: philosophy
My mortgage will be paid off 2 years before retirement and I like the feel of that. The idea of being debt free as regular paid employment comes to an end syncs with me.
I don't have any plans to pay it off early, the rates are so low and I'd rather have the money doing more productive things.
