About New NISA system in Rakuten

Hi, I'm a little confused with the new Rakuten NISA interface and new NISA system. In the 2024年のNISA投資額 pie chart, it indicates that that 投資額 is 0円 But when I go into NISAつみたて投資枠 I still have have my funds that I purchased in 2023 due for payment. When I try to 新規積立設定, it says 「 同一(ファンド、分配金コース、口座区分)...

Junior NISA

Hi, I'm considering to apply for a Junior Nisa account for my son. I'm a little confuse about the tax-free part. I read in some articles that it's tax free for five years, so some other sources indicate tax free until 18 yrs old. After Junior NISA ends in 2023, the funds will be transferred to a reg...

Rakuten securities

Hi, can someone help me with the Japanese in Rakuten securities website?
I'm trying to find out how much money I've paid into tsumitate NISA and how much it has grown.
Can someone advise me on where I should be looking at and what Japanese terms I should be looking out for?
Thanks so much!

tsumitate nisa new year

Hi, Last year 2022, I set up an allocation of ¥10.000 for eMAXIS Slim 米国株式(S&P500), payment using Rakuten credit card. To my knowledge, tsumitate nisa is for one year and after one year the deductions will stop? But I checked today under 積立設定一覧. And the deduction for this allocation is still act...

in limbo

Hi, this is regarding tusmitate nisa.
I sent in an application for purchase of tusmitate nisa eMAXIS Slim 米国株式(S&P500) on Dec 14, 2021.
However, the status of the application is still at 積立状況 設定中
Is it supposed to take so long to process the application?

Transition Dec 2021 to Jan 2022

Hi, So the year is ending soon and I'm a little confused as to what I'm supposed to do with my Tsumitate Nisa. I currently am putting ¥10,000 monthly into Fund A. I'm thinking to purchasing Fund A and invest in Fund B. Is there any procedure I should be doing? Does the investing in Fund A stop autom...

Re: Tsumitate Nisa Beginner Question

Just to check
Let’s say I invested ¥10,000 every month in Fund A for this year under Tsumitate NISA. For the next year, can I switch to another fund (Fund B)? What happens to the money invested in Fund A? I can just leave it in there to grow right?

Hi, I'm 40 and married to a Japanese man. I do freelance but rely on my husband for insurance coverage. (扶養) My freelance income is limited because I'm under 扶養 and also because freelance work is not constant every month. I'm worried that I won't have enough for my retirement. I currently invest in ...
