Re: Japanese mortgage for UK property?
Yes, I wouldn't do a buy to let just for the spread. But I'm just buying a place and putting a renter in to pay off the mortgage so in 20 years I will have a house that someone else bought me. I'm doing capital repayment. I was going to to do a 200.000 pounds place but will do a 120.000 pound place ...

Re: Japanese mortgage for UK property?

Liquid expat was recommended to me by someone who has done 5 buy to lets and although I've never used a broker before they we...

Re: Japanese mortgage for UK property?
Has anyone managed to get a loan in Japan from a Japanese institution for a UK property? I currently have a 5 year fixed decision in principle at 4.00% which is pretty bad through an expat broker the lender is a UK building society. I was wondering if a Japanese institution would ever offer one to ...

Create business to offset tax
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to reduce income tax on my main job, which is a full time uni job, by creating a company that runs at a loss and then using the income from the main job to subsidise the losses? Is anything like that in Japan possible?

I wanted to know how I can reduce my tax (I was in the gulf for a long time, so haven't paid for ages). I am married with a child, wife isn't working. Do I have to formally tell the universi...

Re: Japanese university pension
So if I keep paying my UK pension I should get the full UK state pension, plus my wife's kokumin nenkin and my kosei nenkin. So I am looking at something like 2.5 mil a year?
