I suggest every first Thursday of the month in Yokohama. Time 2 pm. Place https://www.yokohamajapan.com/things-to ... php?id=100
It can be a “branch” of Shinjuku group or stand alone meet up.
So, December 5 next if anyone in.

I had similar experience. Having bank interest and real estate earnings in Australia totalling 400K plus still working in Japan , but they only look at the salary. And as I’m 65 their judgement is “he will stop working soon” even I san service the loan without salary or just sell one of overseas pro...

Many good recommendations, anyone knows banks which do not penalize for extra repayments? In general which ones are good/best (noted and AU and Paypay)? I am planning to put 20% cash, the rest to finance.

paying tax in Japan

I have account with Shinsei bank and need to pay my tax first time, My accountant sent me a slip for Easy Pay, but the bank requires normal beneficiary information (account # etc). I wonder if anyone knows if JTO has a bank and account to send money to or other options.

I have only one card Wise. As I have favourite hotels where I stay (views , balcony) and choose airline for convenience rather than points , this works for me well in Japan and in the World.
