Thank you for your feedback. I am always anxious when it comes to investing and this especially in Japan (language barrier). I have $50.000 on my savings account with the Bank of America which sleeps there. Definately, better to invest!

I always read about NISA and IDECO on the RetireJapanForum, but was wondering if anyone has invested in a SMBC FUND WRAP?

I have the intention to transfer $50.000 from my BofA account into to my SMBC account. Previously, I used the BofA app to transfer my money. Last year "July" I bought a tradionnal Japanese house ( was built in the mid nighties) in Kawazu (Shizuoka Prefecture) for approx. 14 million Yen. Living space: 225sq. meters (2 floors). I contacted a local architect office to renovate the whole house: new flooring (B-tile), new wall pape...
