Potentially silly question but I'm wondering what happens to gains on assets acquired prior to marriage in a divorce. Does it make a difference if you don't hold your ETFs, stocks, bonds etc. directly but they are in a company you set up to hold your investments (possibly foreign based e.g. Estonia or so) ? I think doing so is kind of popular in Europe.
