Just a heads up, your children don't need to be 'registered' to be considered Canadian citizens legally. Thanks for the reply, that seems reasonable.
It's only going to be 1000 yen so juggling my tsumitate allocations for the rest of the year to come to an even 1.2 million doesn't seem worth the trouble.

So assuming that I had my Ideco with Rakuten and am investing exclusively in their all-world wrapper, would it be the smart play to switch future investments to the tawara, or would it be better to switch to the no load and not leave any of the higher fee rakuten fund?
