Re: UK pension living in Japan

Just to hijack this thread a bit as same title, I have a uk pension (just the minimum 10 years paid but like hell if I’m letting that go!), and planning to retire in Japan. I’m also planning to apply for citizenship in Japan probably next year. In the case where I get citizenship, (NOT PR), does any...

He isn’t aware of having one.
But how would he find out if he does or not?

Uk pension for Japanese national

Hi all sorry if this has been asked before but I can’t find out exactly online. A Japanese fiend of mine spent *about* 3 years living and working in the UK, I think they said about 10 years ago. They were working for a Japanese company and I believe they said their company sorted all their tax stuff...

Re: Emaxis slim all country

Although fortunately I have some extra money I was plann...

Re: Emaxis slim all country

Thanks. I figured. Just since I started a few years ago I haven’t seen a decline like this yet so it’s spooked me a bit.

Emaxis slim all country

Hi all, don’t actually understand much about markets or anything complicated but I’ve noticed my NISA (emaxis slim all country, done with Rakuten) is currently crashing. I know it’s supposed to be a set and forget type thing but I’m a bit worried I’m missing something as I seem to be losing money. I...

Re: Work problems.

Well my conversation went about as well as I expected. She laughed, she cried, she flipflopped, contradicted herself, dismissed my issues, tried the waterworks to get me to give up. Tried to say that she couldn’t have staff taking time off whenever they liked (despite that being illegal). I explaine...

If it’s 5 full time staff, then I’m out of luck.

Re: Work problems.

The person I spoke to actually called me back to say that it was not obligatory for my boss to pay for social insurance because my company was small. She said that it had to be a place that had 50 staff members. However what you just posted says 5 staff. If it’s 5 staff then I’m potentially in luck....
