Should I take advantage of the exchange rate

I'm a retired, long-term resident of Japan with PR and no intention of returning to the UK. Re: frozen UK pensions

A stay of 183 days or more in the UK will probably mean that you become resident there.

Re: All of my credit cards were rejected when I attempted to book flights

I tried with the same cards today at lunchtime and they went through without any problems. All in all, this took quite a long time. I thought I had been completely blocked FOREVER. There was no contact from the domestic banks associated with the cards. Thank you all for your comments. Power to RETIR...

All of my credit cards were rejected when I attempted to book flights

I have been trying to book flights to HK. I have 3 credit cards, 2 Japan based, and one UK based. All of them have been refused. I have never previously had this kind of issue. I rarely use cards and have no debts. Any ideas what to do? A card I have based in Jersey said the card was checked their e...

PRUDENTIAL PRUDENCE BOND

I have been her since the mid-80s when investment opportunities were limited. Dating from that time, I still have a PRUDENTIAL PRUDENCE BOND. It has a lowish risk and a kind of with profits bonus. Performance has been reasonable. I was wondering if anyone on here has the same investment. I would be ...
