Re: Can I receive my Japanese pension anywhere in the world (not my native country)?
Thanks. It seems difficult. Let's say I want to leave Japan, but collect my pension. I'm not 60 yet. I go back to my native country, Canada, then how would I set up receiving that money? Could I start receiving it in Canada before turning 60? If I have to wait, how would Canada even know that I paid...

Re: Can I receive my Japanese pension anywhere in the world (not my native country)?
Thank you. What if I leave Japan before I'm 60 and never return? Could I live in a different country, then start receiving the pension when I'm 60 or 65? Would there be any difference between moving back to my native country (which has a pension agreement with Japan) and moving to a completely diffe...

Can I receive my Japanese pension anywhere in the world (not my native country)?
I've been paying into the pension fund for over 10 years. What if I don't want to return to my native country, and want to live in a country other than Japan? Can I still collect my Japanese pension outside of Japan, but not my native country? Also, would I have to wait until I'm 65, or could I coll...

Re: Is there a Japanese version of H&R Block?
Thank you. I hope they do it right if I go to the tax office. I received some inheritance money in Canada. As far as I know as a resident of Japan for tax purposes, I should be paying tax on that here in Japan. I'll show them my paperwork and a translation.

Is there a Japanese version of H&R Block?
This year, my taxes might be more complex than normal, so am wondering if there is a Japanese version of H&R Block. If you don't know H&R Block, they are a company that will do your tax paperwork for you for a small charge.

Thank you.
I just gave them a copy of the paper they asked for. It didn't have as much info on it as I expected, so that's good.

Re: How much do I have to reveal to new employers regarding pension.
I was wondering if it would be an option to tell the employer that you need to do a kakutei shinkoku and just tell them to skip the nenmatsu chosei. Sure, that is an option. There might be a whole load of reasons why one might have to do a Kakutei Shinkoku. The Employer still needs the Basic Pensio...

Re: How much do I have to reveal to new employers regarding pension.
I had a job until last year which ended abruptly, so I went on unemployment insurance after that until I found a new job. I've been doing the new job for 3 months, which has been considered a probation period. That period is almost over, so my new employer will enroll me in the pension. Below is th...

It's a very small company, so HR staff = my boss = my manager. This is just for them to do your tax return. All these things potentially lower your taxes. It is doubtful anyone beyond the HR staff will see the details.
