Re: Japan expenses/ Phone bill
Thank you! Would be my long term visa (1 year) a concern fot Ahamo or Aeon? Softbank does not let foreigners with 1 year long-term visa register for a plan so we always ask our Japanese friend but I don’t want to rely on anyone so much.

Switching from Softbank to any carrier’s mean you need to change your number as well. That’s also one of my concern when changing. But I’ve been hearing a lot about Ahamo!

Re: Japan expenses/ Phone bill
It’s both smartphone plans and buying the phones but I want to make it cheaper. The smartphone plans also includes 50GB with unlimited calls and this is already a family type of plan. The staff suggested this plan so it’s cheaper. We just agreed bc we couldn’t speak Japanese well.

I am trying to eliminate my expenses firstly by reducing the cost of payment of my phone bill. (Plus, I’m moving back to my parents place to save more money) The phone bill I have to pay every month exceeds to 40,000 yen. Re: Tsumitate NISA. (Timing to invest)
Thank you. I opened an account using Rakuten. I have not put any money yet. I was planning to start by November but I am afraid that I might lose my free tax allowance. Hello. I have just read an article in Japanese that says that if I invested in Tsumitate Nisa around the middle of the year a...

Re: Tsumitate NISA. (Timing to invest)
Thank you. Maybe the article was talking about losing my tax-free allowance by not using it. I was a bit confused. The article might be saying that you will 'lose' your tax-free allowance by not using it all. I have not heard about any punishment taxes associated with tsumitate NISA and in fact it i...

Tsumitate NISA. (Timing to invest)
Hello. I have just read an article in Japanese that says that if I invested in Tsumitate Nisa around the middle of the year and have only invested 200,000 yen not completing 400,000, there will be a tax incurred? Is it true? Do I have to start by January? If I were to invest in July, I will have to ...

Re: FOREX Trading (Day Trade)
Thank you so much for all your advice. Yes I heard Forex trading is gambling so I also had to think about it carefully. It's best to focus first in paying of my debts and building up an emergency fund:) Forex trading is just gambling really, unless you have a lot of free time to focus on it. It's re...

Re: FOREX Trading (Day Trade)
Thank you so much. I am just worried. I may sound biased or what but just wanted to make sure as I am a foreigner and might taken advantage of because of my limited Japanese language skills.
