Graffiti is everywhere in the Basque Country, but I thought this building looked cool

I’m in London now seeing friends. As usual, had a fairly poor initial experience, but it got much better once I met up with people. Last night I went to a Eurovision Song Contest party and drank far too much.

Today I met a friend for a walk and lunch.

This evening I met my cousin for dinner. The restaurant was good, staff friendly, and food decent. BUT THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD. So they gave us our drinks for free and all the food they had left in the kitchen. Not bad!

I walked there (just under an hour) and planned to take the underground back, but THE STATION WAS CLOSED so I walked back again.

A really interesting up and down day 😉

No wonder I am tired!

Before leaving I went on a hike along the coast in Spain and did a long photo Twitter thread about it.

Jiu-jitsu instructionals: four (pass)
YouTube videos: one (pass)

Consequences: None.

I’m in Europe, so instead of going to jiu-jitsu three times a week, my goal is to watch three instructionals and stretch every day. I have managed the stretching and the instructionals this time. Mission accomplished.

This week I am rereading Stephen King’s On Writing and Tim Ferriss’s The Four-Hour Work Week. They are both excellent and I am looking for inspiration when I reread them.
