Life is suddenly much much better

Accompanied my wife on her latest hospital visit to get the results of some tests this week, and… it seems like she is going to be okay.
I can’t describe how much my life changed in just a few minutes.
2025, all is forgiven.

So glad to read this, Ben. While you hadn’t gone into details, reading between the lines on your blog over the last few months, I got the impression that your family was facing the worst possible situation. It must be a wonderful relief to know that the dark future looming over you has been swept away.
I can imagine your feelings a little bit, having had the experience of being told I had a tumor, started thinking about how my young children would cope in a future without me, then it turned out to be entirely benign. Feels like getting a second chance at everything, doesn’t it? Congrats on your good news. Here’s wishing you and your wife many, many more years of adventures together!
That’s exactly it. Like waking up and realising you are in bed and not in the nightmare any more.
Great news, Ben. Health is such a worry and ultimately all that really matters. The relief when things take a good turn is incredible.
Still can’t quite believe it after six months of the opposite.
A short blog this week but the best you’ve written – so pleased for you, your wife & family 🙂
Thanks Phil!
Ben, that’s such great news! Huzzah!
Thank you!
