Overwhelmed edition
The stock market is on a ride. Society and work are kind of iffy. The worst thing is the uncertainty: no one has any idea of what is going to happen.
Even RetireJapan is not immune: you may have noticed we missed a post last week, as I was just too busy to get round to it.
As promised, this week’s Monday Read will have no links about covid-19. I think there is probably enough info about that floating around. We’ll stick to everything else 🙂
This week’s links
- I’ve been really enjoying this. Not sure why: Ustad Saami’s ‘mind-boggling’ album God Is Not a Terrorist: ‘It’s superhuman’
- Whither bonds: Why I’m More Worried About the Bond Market Than the Stock Market
- Good reminder: I’m here, to remind you
- Liquid funds and the courage to act (one out of two isn’t enough, eh?): We’ll Get Through This
- Storing carbon: We Need To Take CO2 Out Of The Sky
- Need to do more of this: Being a noob
- Worth another read: You Could Have Today. Instead You Choose Tomorrow.
- This short article about the 1904 Olympic marathon is fantastic 🙂
- Not a fan, to be honest: Stop Saying “Gaijin” and “Gaikokujin
Anything good in there? #1 and #8 for me, I guess.
Not finding links related to covid-19, must have been difficult.. considering the Media focus on this
Ha, ha, it was a bit tough. That’s why the post is so short!
