Post-viral fatigue edition

Man, shingles is a nasty disease. I had no idea how nasty. Visibly I have recovered but I have no energy and life seems really difficult now. Hopefully this too will pass 🙂

In better news we will be heading to Fukuoka and Kitakyushu in March! More details when we have them.

Also looking for more opportunities to do workshops/lectures/seminars. Please get in touch if you have a group that could sponsor or help facilitate one.

    1. I’ll definitely make it down at some point -my wife is a big fan and I’ve never been yet!

  2. I also really liked #6. I hadn’t seen or heard of the meme before, but it is amazing how he made the most of what must have been a crappy situation.

Part 2 of #9 is also a great read (I hope I’m not spoiling next week’s list).
I signed up for a manshon (a medium-rise, not a tower) last year but soon got cold feet over it. Luckily for me, an opportunity to break the contract without penalty arose, so I jumped at it.
Residents started moving in almost 2 months ago, but judging by the number of lights on in the evening, the building is still half empty. I’m glad to be on the outside looking in, not the other way around.

  3. The best thing Japan has on offer is a 50-50 shot at shingles prevention. I’ve asked.
The intl standard is 90% effective and can be had in Korea, Philippines and other places too. Called Shingrex
