Everything seems… fine?
No natural disasters today. Phew. Although it seems like we might still have a couple of typhoons to get through before winter settles in.
Speaking of typhoons, I hope they don’t disrupt our RetireJapan seminar in Tsukuba this week. Really looking forward to that one.

This week’s books
- Exhalation, by Ted Chiang. Have heard very good things about this SF short story collection. Looking forward to starting it soon.
- Stillness is the Key, by Ryan Holiday. This also looks good. Enjoyed Ryan’s previous work, including Conspiracy, The Obstacle is the Way, and Trust Me I’m Lying.
