お金の教養 (Money Education) is a great little book that contains very simple but very effective advice on how to think about and manage money.
It is similar to Your Money or Your Life in that it deals more with money habits and attitudes rather than investing.
It’s an easy read (took me about two weeks but native speakers don’t need more than an hour or two) and cheap (594 yen on Amazon). I have already bought four copies to give to family and students and I’m sure I will be buying more, as this is the kind of book that could transform someone’s life if they read it at the right time.
