We’re all going on a summer holiday
Well, I am going on a summer holiday with my wife, and I think it might be best if I am not constantly stressing about getting the latest blog post up at RetireJapan.
Consequently, I am going to take a break from the site during August. There will be no regular posts until September (if I get inspired I may write something, but no promises). Coaching will also be on hiatus, but there are a few open slots in September if you want to get your finances sorted before the end of the year.
It was a huge relief to see that the current temperatures where we are going are 12-20 (Tallinn, Estonia) and 17-22 (Plentzia, Spain). Suits me a bit better than the 30-35 we have in Sendai this week!
If you are craving a bit of personal financial advice the Forum will still be operating, and I’ll probably be on Facebook a bit.
Have a great summer, and see you again in September 🙂
Have a great break!
Thanks 🙂
Have a great time, Ben. I’m enjoying the mild UK temperatures. Far preferable to the mid-30s where I live in Japan.
Yeah, I’m starting to reconsider my retirement plans… wouldn’t want to be here if it gets significantly hotter 🙁
Enjoy yourselves, you deserve the time off!
Have a great holiday! Love Spain – wish I was going!
This Taifu coming has finally brought some great swell to Shonan South of Tokyo. I hit it today and will tomorrow as well.
Ocean breezes are fantastic.
My mansion wide windows on two corners facing Southeast with a wonderful roof garden is keeping us cool. Still, have no need for the air conditioner.
Love retirement, but hate the yen rate.
Everyone have a great holiday. If I get lucky I will be in Boston visiting family.
Everyone have a great holiday. With any luck I will be in Boston visiting mom.
Get lucky and if you have time go to bean town.
Retire in Hokkaido! Its great, no rainy season and no hot humid summer (or very short) … just have to enjoy the snow, at least the houses are built for it
September is upon us.
Indeed 😀
There should be a Monday Read this weekend. Quite a long one…
Cool Ben. Hope your break was good. I got in some good waves, and my nenkin stuff is finally coming through. Don’t need much to retire in Japan as long as your have no debt. Mortgage done. Owarimashita.
